Field Office Manager:Austin Industrial

Job Description:

Austin Industrial, Inc. is a leading General Contractor that provides construction, maintenance, turnaround, specialty, and plant services within the oil, gas, chemical, power and manufacturing industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Field Office Manager. This exciting, critical position is responsible for organizing and controlling all administrative functions in the field office including but not limited to timekeeping, personnel records, personnel requisition, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other related activities.

This position will be based in Lima, OH

•        Direct and maintain the preparation of accounts payable, accounts receivable and equipment rental functions.
•        Coordinate payroll, purchasing, and accounts payable functions.
•        Make expendable material purchases as required and provide receiving of materials either directly or through subordinates.
•        Direct or prepare weekly payroll and verify time reports to ensure accuracy.
•        Prepare controls and merge with other data required for preparation of payroll.
•        Prepare control documents for use in reconciling one or more of the following: payroll, payables, and receivables transactions.
•        Prepare or direct the preparation of pay estimates, cost reports, etc.
•        Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual closing statements, reports and invoices.
•        Responsible for monitoring subcontractor cost and issuance of back charges.
•        Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
•        Administer company policies and procedures.
•        Manage internal and external audits.
•        Distribute payroll.

Skills:

Requirements

•        Minimum five years’ direct experience in purchasing, accounts payable, job cost accounting, billing and tracking accounts receivable.
•        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related is preferred but not required.
•        Must have strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
•        Must have an understanding of project accounting and administration procedures and techniques.
•        Must have good communication skills and time management skills.
•        Experience managing five or more direct reports preferred.
