Job Description:

Job Summary:
Part-time position for a "Jack / Jill of All Trades". Must demonstrate an upbeat and positive attitude and is a team player.

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Must be a multi-tasked oriented, organized, and energetic individual
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving skills are highly desired, as well as an eye for detail.

Essential Functions:
• Performs minor plumbing, electrical, furniture and equipment repairs. So some knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry is required
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, cleaning of wood, glass, pictures, doors, windows, tables, chairs and carpets.
• Deep clean restrooms and kitchen area, remove trash from these areas as well as all desk and office areas, clean outdoor ashtrays and remove outdoor garbage can trash to dumpster or proper disposal
• Ensures the grounds and landscaping are picked up of garbage and maintained (mowing, edging, pruning, mulching)
• Monitors building safety and addresses immediately
• Insures sidewalks are cleaned and salted during winter months prior to weekdays 8 am
• Monitors dumpster pick-ups for regularity and adequacy
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Uses equipment and supplies properly. Previous knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment preferred but not required.
• Performs preventative maintenance as directed by supervisor
• Responsible for minor routine maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and filters
• Should have knowledge of hand tools and light power tools
• Report maintenance concerns and needs to supervisor.
• Responsible for all exterior building appearance not limited to window washing, trash cans, area around dumpster and other functions as directed
• According to periodic maintenance schedule assist with cleaning of high vents, lights and ceilings.
• According to periodic maintenance schedule, buffs floors, shampoos, and extract carpets
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

Physical, Mental, and Environmental Demands:
• Ability to work independently.
• No training program and must be able to take on full responsibilities immediately
• Able to stand and walk for a minimum of 4 hours.
• Capable to maneuver from floor to floor by stairway (a minimum of 20 steps).
• Fluent and literate in English.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift and hold 50 lbs and possibly work in tight spaces as well as stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push and pull
• Manual dexterity to grab, grip, hold, pour, tear, cut, sort and reach.
• Operate various cleaning equipment, power tools and hand tools.
• Available Monday through Friday to work early mornings and / or late afternoons and available for emergency maintenance calls as well as some weekend calls
