Sales Account Executive (Lexington, KY):MNI Targeted Media Inc.

Job Description:

MNI Targeted Media, a Meredith Corporation company, is growing and moving into the key cities of Salt Lake City, UT, Portland, OR, Lexington, KY, and Bentonville, AR, as we continue market expansion. Are you the exceptional individual to develop the designated market and surrounding territory by building brand equity, driving business development and advancing advertising sales throughout the assigned territory?

The Account Executive position assesses the market potential of prospective accounts and meets with local/regional and national businesses to glean potential advertising and marketing partnerships. Account Executive’s must have proven sales success history. He or she must be a marketing leader who will identify, grow, and maintain a territory of clients in Kentucky and West Virginia through face to face meetings, prospecting, advertising programs, events, branding and presentations. The AE will meet with key marketing people on the client side and media, creative and public relations advertising agencies. Account Executives will work with clients/advertising agencies and MNI’s internal team to develop integrated advertising and marketing programs to home in on the client’s objectives that will hit their KPI goals.

-Develop and maintain sales territory by building brand equity, business development and advertising sales throughout the assigned territory.
-Generate a strong understanding of MNI’s suite of products and media solutions.
-Cultivate high-level client relationships on the client and agency sides.
-Leverage a strong consultative approach for selling targeted marketing solutions in the magazine, cover wrap, digital and tech arena.
-Identify revenue opportunities with existing clients/advertising agencies to grow existing relationships.
-Provide ongoing client management to partners including regular reviews of marketing plans performance, educational events and client entertainment.
-Deliver regular updates to management on pipeline of business, percent to goal, territory updates and opportunities along with region challenges.
-Perform client needs analysis to determine marketing pain points and develop strategies to address those needs.
-Exceed annual revenue goals.
